Portfolio Manager, Investment Advisor

Paige focuses on portfolio management and investment advising for Harwood Financial Group, as well as implementing financial plans and conducting interim performance reviews with clients to track plan implementation. Paige can also be heard on some of the Harwood radio commercials and shows. Paige is a great resource for investment questions and performance details. Paige grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia as the youngest of four daughters. In the early 1990's, she began her financial career in venture capital, specializing in assisting with mergers and acquisitions. After moving to Florida, Paige became Vice-President of Private Equity for a Tampa-based FINRA member investment bank. This is where Paige learned the fundamentals of what makes a company a good investment, reviewing hundreds of businesses from the ground up. Shortly before joining our family here at Harwood Financial, Paige led a Wealth Management team as a Financial Advisor at one of the largest financial firms in the country.

Paige currently holds her series 65 as an Investment Adviser Representative and also has her Life, Health and Annuity insurance licenses. Paige is a certified special needs financial advisor (CSNA) and is currently enrolled with the College for Financial Planning to earn her Certified Financial Planner TM (CFP®) designation as well as earning her CDFA designation as a Certified Divorce Financial Advisor.

Paige has a fifteen-year-old son that attends Palm Harbor High School in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program there. Along with her boyfriend, Greg, and his two children, they can be found at local sporting events (Rays, Threshers, Storm, Bucs and Lightning), concert venues, or off to Orlando theme parks almost every weekend.

My favorite part about being a part of Harwood Financial Group starts with the clients. The nature of financial advising has evolved, and Harwood Financial has been at the front of that evolution by making education a cornerstone of what we do. Albert Einstein said, “If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough,” and I truly believe that. What sets us apart is that – although we may spend our days with the technical side of investing – we don't hide behind terms or language that is not clear and easy to understand. So whether a client is a savvy financial investor who understands double diagonal options strategies, or someone who doesn't care about the latest financial buzzwords as much as what it means to them, we communicate in a clear and understandable way. I truly believe that this is what investors are looking for today: to understand their own personal retirement plan so that they can relax and rely on us. There is nothing better than showing someone how they are on track for their dream retirement and allowing them the freedom to focus instead on the things that they want spend their days enjoying: whether that is their family, relationships, careers, gardening, charities, golf, church, the list is endless. Reviews with clients are a great time because I get to share how they are doing (sometimes in great detail which is fun for the nerd in me!) and they get to share with me how they are enjoying their lives, and ultimately, that is what this industry should be about: improving the lives of our clients.
